My late father in the photograph above with the blue shirt, stands next to his grandfather's grave in the Anglo Boer War Cemetry in Petrusburg. He also chose to have more or less the same reference to "rest" on his tomb stone from the Psalms of David, namely, "...finally, I found my rest in God...". The Dutch inscription on the grave reads" Rust mijn ziel, uv God is Koning" (Rest my soul, your God is King".) God also "rested" after the creation, however, quotes FJ Dake in God's Plan for Man,p.57:God does not rest because He gets tired, but because he ceases activity or completes a work (Gen. 2:1-4; Heb.4.4). Cf my Blog on the comprehension of "God's rest" and the Seventh Day Adventist Church Museum in Kimberley.
