2014 update about myself...

2014 is on its way out...So many events in my own life to reflect on. For example the good as well as the bad. For the good side my wife Christa and I traveled to Gonubie near East London for a few days of ocean air. Also visited Morgansbay near Keimouth. Later during the year we cleaned out Christa's little bush veld home at Leeupoort, near Thabazimbi. (see my Facebook photo's). Currently, on the day of publishing, we visited our eldest son, Johan and his family, Henriette, Reinhardt and Kalista...yes and the boarder coley Sheena! They live in Polokwane (Pietersburg) in the Limpopo province. Beautiful vegetation, trees and landscape. Johan underwent eye surgery for an old injury when he was still a child. The retina came loose and his doctor filled the eyeball with oil. He has to wait three months before the doctor can put back a lens. We all pray that it will be a success and that his eyesight will be restored properly as it should.
