DIASPORA OF OUR OWN DE BEER BRANCH

At this point in time, brother Ben de Beer's son, Benny, lives in the United Kingdom with his wife Jesica and son, Joshua de Beer. Our younger brother, Floris de Beer's son Niel de Beer lives in Australia with his wife and daughter. Our sister, Annemarie's eldest son, Matthew Broderick and his wife lived for a while abroad, however returned back to South Africa. Our cousin, Willem de Beer and his family also lives in Australia, while our cousin Fran's three children are respectively living in the USA and Canada. Karel van der Berg's daughter and son (Kallie) also worked for a few years abroad and eventually returned back to South Africa. My daughter in law, Lara de Beer, may be the most experienced global wanderer of the whole family. She lived and worked in several countries after settling down in Stilfontein, Klerksdorp. Globalisation may cause more traveling and working abroad for the rest of the De Beer family too.
